Windshields galore!

Post by Akumar »

Dear fellow enthusiasts,

I recently got a windshield made for my BSA. The company is called SlipStreamer based in Blaine, Minnesota, USA. They are big suppliers for major motorcycle brands including Harley. I took my old windshield frame with me and the owner (himself) made me this nice windshield. Regarding the costs, it was a total of $140 (approx £90) including replacement mounting rods and clamps. I highly recommend them for your windshield needs. The company is only 20 miles from me and I can help you out if needed. That begs the question: did any Ariels come with windshield? Or to make it fun, post a picture of Ariel with windshield!

Here's the screen that seems to work the best for me, not pretty but when I'm on the bike it doesn't look too bad!

Back in 1951 my dad made the windscreen and the legshields to fit my 1935 RH350. (second from left.) I really appreciated them as the bike was just a mode of transport then.
