Hi, I guess I didn't make myself too clear in my last post re rigid wiring. I have the wiring diagram & The correct cable & all other components. I am looking for pictures or information as to where on the bike the wires actually run in relation to the frame and other components. Sorry if I was a bit confusing.

Hi Kevin, did you get requested information? I'm going through the same head-scratching moments myself as to where the wires should actually run...

It always feels very difficult until you get stuck in. Have you bought a loom for your bike?

Hi Kevin and Steven,
I am uploading a few photos of the way I wired my 1937RH.
A lot of research was done by Andrus Luuding and myself on correct wiring and I think it is fairly close to what it should be.
Your experience may vary
If you would like any other information feel free to ask.

Hi John,
It is a replica of a Lucas No. 20 brake light switch.
The ST20 Brake Light came with the No. 20 switch in the 30s, early 40s.
They are not common and it seems there is little knowledge about them.
(See late 1930s Ariel Brochures -> "Extras" -> "Lucas Stop instead of Tail Lamp").
After years of searching I was able to find a ST20 brake light but no switch.
I constructed the replica using photos of a dismantled No. 20 switch and bracket.

I am in the same situation with a new harness from Draganfly and wondering how the wires run to the tail light.

That is a very nice looking bike and some beautiful work on the switch. I would love to see a post (or Cheval article) dedicated to the ST20 light and no 20 switch, as well as your building of the switch and some photos of the stop light. It is obvious you have done your research.

On the rear stays on my W/NG there are two small tags welded to the inside of the right hand leg going to the mudguard.
But the switch is -ofcourse- on the left.
So the wire is intended to go from the left , over the mudguard to the right and down to the light....??...
I think it is to avoid the possibility that the wires get trapped by the rear chain if you have them on the left hand side.
Up until very recently I did not notice these two small tags so my wires are on the left hand side, yes, I have to alter that one day....
