Carb set up for 1957 VB......

Post by steven.warren »

Hi, i've bought a brand new monobloc for my vb (376/13), i put it on but it will not start and does seem to wet the plugs. There is a spark but due to dry plugs i'm guessing that the pilot air screw may require adjustment. Has anybody got an idea how i should proceed with this, or even if this is correct???

Wind the screw right in and then unscrew 1and a half turns is a good place to start. I take it that you are tickling the carb till fuel drips.
