Does anybody know if a Amal pre monobloc 276 (1 inch bore) would run fine on a W/NG as I have the standard 275 fitted but not in great condition at all
and the 276 i have is a B/1J from my matchless G3L WD and was new a while back and runs great on this bike. I intend to try it on the
W/NG but would like to get some thoughts? on jetting etc.

Hi Malcolm, welcome to our forum.
The 276 should work fine on your W/NG.
Here's the Amal info. http://www.arielownersmcc.com/members ... 0-1954.htm
You might have to play with jetting a tiny bit.

Hi guys
I have this weekend tried the 276 from my matchless G3 and it started perfectly and runs great. the next stage would be to play around at little with
jetting and set up a little until perfect but as it was for my G3 and should stay there I need to pick up another or indeed go ahead with restoration
of original 275 thanks for interest.
