What a time for my Ebay access to be dead. Hope it actually went to a person who will get it going again. Yes, that noise you all hear is me screaming.........

The dry climate in the area preserves stuff like you wouldn't believe. In the sixties and early seventies, there were yards full of steam traction engines, old cars and trucks from the tens and twenties, and veteran bikes without a spot of rust on them.Engines pulled to pieces and left in the open fifty years before looked as though you could put them back together.Regards John.

Bad luck Brett.
There'll be others. The early tank was good, but a lot of the bike was missing.
Do you use sniping software?

Yes I missed it completely until I read your post, too much time looking at the UK due to never finding anything here.
I live rural so do not have any fancy speed or connection, just next G with external antenna so it slows down with people gas bagging and kids on the net after school.
Do not use sniping software, thought it was not playing fair although I may have to lose some morals as I'm net-speed handicapped compared to the rest of the world.
I would of had shipping costs on top or a 8-10 day round trip driving to get it too so it was borderline.
I have another set of original Girders so am keen for another frame/project even though the wife reminds me I still have others here to get going !.
I'm not the first to of heard that I'm sure.

Hi Brett,
all's fair in love and ebay.
This software is free and works well. It's better than sitting up to UK time for an auction to finish and it also stops you impulse bidding.

Im a big fan of Steve Hazelton,he turns up heaps of fantastic stuff, and because of the climate its useable even when it looks rusty on ebay.Ive got some very hard to find Panther stuff from him,and also bits of misc parts for projects. When he had the swapmeet dealer business going,he allways had tons of stuff to look at.Not 90% Jappa and car stuff either, like many have now. Some may remember he was the publisher of Australia Classic Motorcycle magazine in the eighties. It takes a brave man to launch a mag in Aus,we are notorious for refusing to pay for yearly subscriptions.Regards John.
