...ironware lined up in front of my newly aquired beadblasting cabinet about to get a cleanup . Bought the cabinet from a photo from on an internet site, was a bit surprised/annoyed when it was delivered, as it was unassembled in a big flat box on a pallet.
Now I'm happy I put it together myself as I used extra sealant on all joints to ensure there are no leaks.

Did you get the blaster here over the ditch and what FAD CFM do you need for that ? looks pretty good, and what are you doing with all those hubs there. Have you been roped in as your clubs bead blaster, having some spare wheels or going on the market ? Brett

...hi Brett, got the cabinet here ( Auckland via Shahnghai )and it does the trick...compressor does 10CFM from memory.
The ironware is due to assembling a road going '29 as well as the subject of this thread at the same time. When I got my ute load of Ariel there was the bones of 4 bikes, much of it pretty mankey so if I can get 2 bikes out of it i'll be happy.

...as mentioned above, Its pretty well sealed Nev so, as yet, no dust has escaped into the atmosphere, got a good vacuum cleaner which takes the fines out without removing much media...having the door on the end is'nt ideal though as you loose a little media when you open it, which I vacuum up, so not much is lost.
Surprisingly, it's got a genuine glass window over which I put one of those peeloff plastic sheets. First time I fired it up the vacuum caused the gloves to "pop" into an "erect" state coz I hadn't put in any provision for ventilation...Ive now got an 80mm X 1.5M pipe up the wall...it had mimimal instructions!
The other thing that had to be improved was the lighting...also found you can see better if you don't have any back light reflecting on the window, so I either put my head under an old blanket like an ancient photographer, or work after dark with the shed lights out.
