I think the difference in spacer size is only 11 thou (0.274" and 0.285"), if I didn't have the 0.274" spacer I just used the larger one and adjusted the sizes of the end float shims to centralise the conrod in the crankcases. As the wider spacer was used in the 350s, they are much more common than the narrow one.
The wider one could also be ground down to size, but as it is hardened, I'm not sure if this would be easy or useful (if the hardening is damaged).

Re: VH500 main bearing size
Just got quote back from Ransome & Marles Bearings and prices are
roller 1" * 2.5" * 0.75" not lipped £60.90
roller 1" * 2.25" * 0.625" lipped £66.95
ball 1" * 2.25" * 0.625" £34.57
Total £204.50 with postage and vat
This seems high to me, Draganfly list the three main bearings on their web site at £78.21 with vat for all three ,so with postage will be around £90.
