My great grandfather had an Ariel motorcycle in the 1930's.
I would like to know something about this motorcycle and if it's maybe still being driven.
I only have 1 old scruffy picture which shows the license plate.
It's C-V-2876. I've checked the DVLA's but they have no record of it?
Does anyone know where I can either find this motorcycle or any information about it?
Best Regards,
Diederik van Oyen

This is a challence, it looks like a 1932 fourvalve tank on a 1930 front dinamo 500, maybe 2 dinamo's?

Re: great grandfather's bike
I think it's this Ariel, with a 1932 tank.
Looking at the photo it could be a long distance rider.
A friend has one on Dutch plate, don't know where it's from.
