Morning All.
This hub was originally fitted to my 1934 Ariel Red Hunter 250 LH when I brought it, but was not right for the bike as it was laced incorrectly to the (correct) rim.
I have since found the right front hub but wondered if anyone knows what bike this one might have originally been fitted too?
Devon rims suggested it might be from a Greaves trial bike???
Many thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
Ian

Re: Mystery Front Wheel Hub
That looks just like the front hub on my '31 Panther - which I believe is a Royal Enfield hub (the rear has the Enfield cush drive).
But as many parts were common to different manufacturers back then it could have come from anything !

I am with Dave on this. It looks very like the hub which came with my Red Hunter and is now probably on the front of Geoff Brown's 1928 Model C. I did a straight swop with the late John Bryant around 1988.

Re: Mystery Front Wheel Hub
Thanks very much for the help everyone, really appreciated. Sounds as if it may well have been original to the bike after all!
