1939 VG for sale great character
Due to on going back problems I've decided to sell my unrestored 39 VG,. Purchased from the Murray museum in 2005 when it closed down. As a non runner. Mechanically sorted but no fresh paint .retaining all its original tinware , clocks etc.original reg nos. And matching engine and frame numbers.
It has wng forks, VH flywheels, 289 carb and single lobe cam with higher lift but shorter duration.giving a very usable engine. Starts 1st or 2nd kick every time
Very reluctant sale.
I'm listing here for club members to have a go first before I put to market.
Asking £8k ono. Where will you find another.

Looks very consistent and original. A nice bike. This patina should be preserved.

I am too far away and I have my ‘37 VH to finish. Otherwise I would have that as a rider in an instant

Buy it to use to ride to the Slovak Rally and then decide whether or not you have given it an adequate test run.

take it to the Slovak rally and if it can handle the journey, I will buy it from you. You will return home by plane.
