Square four Barrel nuts.

Post by Colinbrindley »

Square four 1947 Iron head. Taking the barrel off to fit a 2mm base spacer. Mag is still bolted on and I`m struggling to get a spanner on the 2 nuts on the rear. The Mag is in the way. Is there a special spanner/tool or am I going to be chopping a 1/4" spanner and making something ?

There is nothing listed in the parts book. The MKI used a couple of extended nuts for this reason, fit as many of these as is convenient.
