we are still working on the front fork 1931 and 1932. I only make parts that are damaged by time. I want to keep the Ariel sloper on the road.

we adjusted the mold in places where it was obvious that we still lacked material and cast new pieces again. Today they came with the foundries

I have completed the first casting samples. now we have to process the contact surfaces and openings to make sure in which places it is still necessary to modify the mold for casting.

we carried out basic processing to ensure the correctness of our form. We found a few more shortcomings, so we will edit the form again. Once it is adjusted, we will cast a series of 10 - 20 sets according to my wishes and start the final machining. However, I still have to change the quality of the aluminum. I don't like the one we used last time. it's already starting to look like a rocker box SG

Once again, we decided to modify the mold for the production of Ariel SG, VG, VH 1931 - 32 top distribution covers. This time it is a final modification to prevent inaccuracies arising when the material cools. We will be casting a large enough batch of these parts in June. the surface treatment will also change. We will use a different foundry sand

Karol, is your casting the same for the two valve and the four valve models ?

This is a 4 valve casting. I think it has a different shape for 2 valves.

Would it be possible that a casting can be used at a later (machining) point for a two valve or a four valve ?
Or are the 2 and 4 valve rockerboxes two completely different designs that dont share a common basic shape ?

Hello my friends. Castings of the upper distribution arrived today. We have 20 sets in total. Half of the work is behind us and I can already estimate that we will be able to finish the work by the end of 2024. If everything goes well, it might be possible to finish it by Ariel Rally Slovakia 2024. However, I cannot guarantee that yet. You can reserve this part from today. Estimated price of completed aluminum distribution covers Ariel SG, VG 1931 - 32 is 350 euros.
