SS Handlebars

I notice that many Super Sports Arrows have dropped bars. Was this a factory option or standard? Are they just inverted to suit rider preference? Thanks!

The SS Arrows were equipped with 'Ace' bars as standard, they are in fact close to the standard ones but upside down.
Roger Gwynn, Membership Secretary, curator of the Machine Register and the works drawings. Director of Draganfly Motorcycles, Craven Equipment and Supreme Motorcycles mostly retired.
