Dennis - you might need to check out Drags for these....

Thank you both for your advice. I have been looking on eBay but with no luck so far; I shall keep looking into the New Year.
As for Drags, I inferred from their web site information that they only do an exchange service for cam re-grinds and I have no cam to exchange. I note that they do sell the cam pinion so that is helpful.

It's possible to make the Camshaft from scratch but the wide followers might be a tall order. Keep trying. . If one was available what would be a fair price do you think? I have acquired a few brand new cams over the years but none of them were single lobe. Nev

Nev,
I have no idea what a fair price would be for a single lobe cam. This is only my second Ariel restoration and the VH came with the timing side intact.
You seem to suggest that a single lobe cam for the NH is rare? Is it the case that the two cam, slim followers combination is more common? I had assumed that I needed a single cam. Are you aware of any technical information on the subject?
Regards,
Dennis
