VB oil pump drive block wanted

Post by Jim Fitzgerald »

Hi. I am looking for a drive block for a VB oil pump and I wondered if any body in the club has a spare they are willing to sell or can suggest a supplier. They have been out of stock at Draganfly for some time and I have just checked and none are on order to be made.
I was going to try John Budgen but I understand that sadly he passed away in January.

Thanks

They are made of duralumen and not hard to make. Some get a bit worn. They can have a bit of play. Nev

Thanks Johnny. I have a Morgo pump and drive block fitted at the moment. I am having issues so I wanted to swap it for an Ariel pump which I have to see if things improve. Unfortunately the Ariel and Morgo drive blocks are different.
I have just spoken to Morgo and they only make the blocks to suit their pumps.

Thanks Nev. I agree they do not look to difficult to make but I do not have access to a milling machine or one I can copy - I just have the Ariel pump.
