Has anybody got a recommendation for a battery charger that'll do 6v and 12v. I think the lead acid battery in my Huntmaster has had it though. Am I OK putting an AGM (or even Lithium type battery) in it or will that be incompatible with the regulator functioning properly? The battery in it at the moment is a Lucas L6N63B. What's the equivalent AGM or Lithium (assuming I can fit either)? Thanks.

I use these, https://draganfly.co.uk/shop/81928/luca ... x70/#BAT2A cheap, hold their charge well and put up with the usual abuse of forgetting to keep them charged. 2 fit nicely inside a dummy battery either as 12 volt or larger 6 volt.

Ive used one of these for a while - Ive found it very good at recovering batteries that other charger wont respond to

Ive been told to avoid lithium batteries unless the charging system is properly designed and geared up for it - whatever that involves 😕
I stick with motobatt batteries - they seem to last for years. The one in my R100RT is around 10 years old now

I use :

Standing uprght on its end inside the hard rubber case of an original Exide battery with all the acid washed out and the plates removed. Packed in tight using cork cut from cork wall tiles.
