Hi , I am getting some great advice, thanks. Do I have to split the crankcase to check the sludge traps? Is there an easier way? Thanks.

I'm afraid so. It's not overly complicated, but you will need the pusher/puller for the coupling gears - available from Draganfly.

If you don't know when it was last done, it's highly recommended to crack in there and clean them out. They are 3/16" bore and fill up easily - and when they do, the associated big end will seize and it's goodbye crankcase.
cheers
