VH 500, 1956 timing mark

Post by ralfpenkert »

Hello,
due to a poor documentation when stripped down the engine need an advise.

Is this correct?
Marks in the Owners Guide look a bit different.

2. question:
this little oil feed has to be like this or the other way?

Thanks a lot in advance - Ralf

The timing marks appear to be correct, the one on the cam pinion should be in line with the keyway. The hole in the sliding block I am sure should be at the top, the countersunk holes in the plungers will collect oil and gravity will do the rest.
