A7/642 cam different followers

Can I use standard twin lobe followers on a A7/642 cam ?
On the A7/642 the followers sit lower -obviously!- than with the 'F' cam.
I like to use the A7/642 cam instead of the F cam but I am wondering about this different angle and would like to know if it would matter
or am I seeing a bear on my track ?

On a single lobe cam the forked followers sit horizontal as you see.

When Ariel went from the 1.5” base circle cams to the 1” base circle A7/642, they did not change the followers. But you will need longer pushrods.
