Phone Mount

Post by MGriffin »

Hi there,
Does anyone run any phone mounts on their Ariels?
I’m looking at the Quad-Lock mount but the VH has such little room on the handle bar.

If I fit it to the 28 to give me a reliable speedo I shant have any problem as the bar is long and straight.
Regards
Michael.

I am using this:

It has a metal brackets which has survived so far. I think it was cheaper than the Quad-Lock mount.

I put one on mine after my Garmin packed up but found that the modern phone is much too big to sit on handlebars and it is too easy to lose the route on Google maps. I now use the BeeLine device and recommend it. Although it has a few problems when importing .gpx routes it is fine when using its own software to plan routes on the phone but not its own software on a PC!
