For Les Carter:
Do the shims go on the camshaft shoulder inside the crankcase or between the chainwheel on the outside ?
(I got too keen on tidying up and deleted one post too many - which was Les's original. Sorry Les!)

They go behind the camshaft sprockets so within the timing case
