Mine came like this with, as you can see, an awful lot of missing parts:

It took 4 years to get it to this:

Cost in total was £9526, according to my records with completion in March 2016, since when restoration costs have increased.

Yes it looks very good indeed. Realy great work!!
But as you said, you completed this restoration in 2016 for 9526 GBP and now 7 years later I expect this will easily exceed 10 grand or more. Finding a set girders will cost you a small fortune, not to mention a 100mph PA speedo…
There’s a lot you can do yourself like wheelbuilding, spraying etc. But there’s a lot of work on a SQ engine which goes beyond the skills of a average ‘mechanic’ what can make things far more expensive.
