Hi all. My mother died a few months ago, and as I clear out her house, much of the stuff (mine) that's in there has to go. As is usual for many of us, I have acquired over the years many magazines. I like to keep some for reference, and especially the pre-war ones, but I also have quite a few from the 50/60s that are definitely having to go.
I am intending to have a stall at this Saturday's Brooklands section VMCC mini 'jumble in Pirbright village hall. I will be taking a number of the old mags, and I wondered if any of you were interested in these pictured, as they have great Ariel adverts on the cover. I could flick through if I have time and see if there are any articles in other issues. Mags are free to members,
Cheers, Tony.

One thing which we have in the AOMCC Archives, and which I don't believe has seen any use, is a comprehensive collection of all the adverts placed in The Motor Cycle and Motor Cycling during the 1950s and 1960s. I think they were the Factory Marketing Department's records. Would that we had such a collection from any of the other departments at Selly Oak.

I guess it's easy for members to miss just what is available to them in the archives. I've only looked a couple of times since joining. The mags are nice for someone who wants the physical examples.
