They have had both of these for a couple years now, possibly asking a little too much for them?

I’m pretty sure that the first bike is ex Bob Brassington/Geoff Brown

Perhaps it's a last-ditch effort by the sellers to maximise their profits before prices fall, as they surely will. :|

Yes both seem very very pricey but from My short experience living in Mainland Europe now is I see the Euro market being very different to U.K. quite often restored/ shiny bikes are less desirable. These 2 have obviously been restored and second bike might have a poor quality tank , (shape looks a bit wrong)

Ah! I am gonna add my bit of moaning now
They look nice but for those numbers one should expect a 99 % bike.

The '38 one :
Oil tank from a twin / earlier prim. chaincase / repro oil and 8 days clock / toolbox not the one with centre knob / carb is postwar and where's the AVC and it's cover?

The '37 one :
same goes for this toolbox / exhaust clamp a homie / altette up front has odd bracket / no lower chainguard / AVC cover! I know someone who makes these  / repro oil gauge / and yes 2nd tank is a bit off-shape.

The 1938 one is definitely the ex Bob Brassington / Geoff Brown bike. But it does have the correct primary chaincases for 1938, according to the parts book. Bob wanted this type specifically when he built the bike and I sold him the set fitted. Its a well sorted bike now, but still extremely expensive.
