Im looking at selling my 1938 Square Four project. project is mostly complete, apart from the missing ignition system the rest of the parts seem to be available through draganfly. I purchased the bottom end from a square four enthusiast, it has had bearings, clearances and tolerances all done and sat together, will just need to be cleaned and reassembled with gaskets. Top end needs to be built, head is in excellent shape with reconditioned valves and a brand new bronze rocker box done by the Australian Ariel Register, but will need most of the other top end parts as they are missing. Wheels have been rebuilt and have new tyres, girder forks have been rebuilt and have many brand new parts that aren't available. Front guard is in decent condition, will require some work but has no rust. The frame is in good order, its only issue is someone has removed the fuel tank mounts but it wouldne be hard to make something up and add it to the frame. I havent been following prices of square fours much in the past few years, so i was wondering if anyone was able to give me an idea on what this project may be worth?

It has recently been on Australian Ebay, initially listed, I think, as a classified ad for $11,000 Aud. It was then listed for auction, with 24 bids up to $6,700 Aud and did not sell. You may be able to contact the seller through Ebay, the seller name is nickisme4444. Item number was 175387443460. Hope this helps, I don't personally have any connection with it.

Adrian, thanks for the info. We will see if I hear back from nick. I did find him on eBay. Shipping will cost but I do have a 1938 square four basket case that might work well with some of these parts. We will see. Thanks again.
