A recent ride over the course of a weekend revealed the sweet spot in my VH at just under 70MPH in Smiths Chronometric terms at about 4000RPM or thereabouts I think going by the Smiths Chronometic Tacho I have fitted. 8:1CR, Mk3 HS Cam and 95 RON.

While we are at this, has anyone got any recommendation for the usual "balance Factor". I've always used 65%. Nev

I think 65% is fine.
