Re: Primary chain cases
These will be rigid chain cases in spite of the year!

Re: Primary chain cases
Year is correct, see my comments in the April CdF I think it was about the very rare rigid NHs made in 1954, most of them went to Cyprus.
"In 1954 the singles and twins were fitted with the new PRF frame, except the VB because who needs suspension on a side-car? Although I knew that there were a few NH built with rigid frames I was not aware of any survivors, until 2 appeared in Cyprus, which prompted a bit of an investigation. It turns out that there were two others in the club’s register, both on Cyprus and that of the 35 built, 12 went to Cyprus, so they have a very high survival rate of 25%. The other 23 were despatched to - Canada 9, Denmark 6, Nigeria 6, Sweden 1 and one to an unknown destination. They were not all built to the same specification and many had unusual fitments such 15 had air cleaners (not usually found on rigids), 5 had dual seats ((must be uncomfortable), 18 with twin port engines (last listed in 1951) and 3 are in blue (this would be the 1953 Wedgewood Blue)."

Re: Primary chain cases
Upshot is that the owner needs to check his frame then ....
