Greetings all.
I have a 1955 VH500, and I need a 15" rear brake pedal lever. The one fitted is only 13 inch, and too far back in the sole of mt foot to be effective. The footrest has been moved right back so the previous owner could operate it as well. I have a 13" one fitted which I am willing to swap p[lus cash of course.

it would be nice if the club spares had some made, there is a few members looking for one i have got two NH that need 15" rear brake pedals

this 'mallable' iron can be welded with ease, you could put a 2" bit in it if no swop turns up.

What I was thinking of doing was getting a plate welded to the pedal itself,2.1/2 inches long, and biased to the left, to bring the lever out so my size 13 can at least press it down. Apparently the 15" curves,bows out to the left as well as being longer, so that would do the trick handsomely.

Well since I have had no replies to my request for a 15 "1955 Ariel VH500 rear brake pedal lever, does anyone have the part number for it. I will have to look further afield. like Holland or the UISA I have had one reply from another site from a bloke who says he has 4???but it looks like he isnt selling ?????

hi the part number i have got are 5400-54c is for the 13 1/2" pedal , and for the 15" pedal is 5400-55c and they are meant to be for the 1954 and 1955 before they went to full width hubs
