This one started as a 350, but have never run it as one. An acquaintance with lots of racing experience has a 1946? 350 and he says the engine revs quicker and is happier at high rpms than the 500 and the bike is so light and nimble that he loves riding it quickly. Great bikes!

One of the fun things about getting the factory records is learning the anniversary of the production date. A great excuse for celebratory ride. The '47 was completed on a Monday 74 years ago today. And the French are celebrating it too. ;)

Bought the Ariel 20 years ago March 30 so took it for a celebratory ride. What fun!
