With regard to the Wakeling Leader racer mentioned in the articles, after being retired from racing it went on display at Stonehurst Family Farm & Motor Museum near Mountsorrel, Leicestershire where I believe it still resides on display today. Jess

Here's a photo of the Wakeling racer on display at Stonehurst. Front mudguard acts a scoop to direct air flow onto the heads and barrels. Jess
