1929 LB250
1929 LB250
Hi, I know some of you thought it should go back in a skip, but I didn't & I bought it ! I was wondering if the engine and gearbox numbers match & what to do about the unreadable frame number if I Retube and repair it??? I remember a BSA in my ownership being x-rayed or something similar in the distant past to check if it was the original number. Can something like this be done these days??
Engine no is :- L1539 Gearbox is :- RPD3825 I know it will be loads of work but think its worth while.Re: 1929 LB250

If any one can Jim, then you can, I've seen the proof mate, good luck with it and well done for saving it.

Look closely at the gearbox number. It should be RPD3823

Wow! good luck and keep us posted!
a while ago I've seen a Black Ariel front fork spring in someone's stash.
If you need one I can ask , maybe send me some dimensions so I can check.
