There's an advertisement on Ebay with a picture of two 1939 Ariel OG 250s with registration numbers FLP 806 and FKT 904. The man who put them on is looking for them as they both belonged to his Uncle some years ago. FLP 806 featured in the September 2007 Cheval when owned by his Uncle Gerard Pettit. Both bikes were sold probably around 2010 and 2011 as that's when the DVLA site shows new log books being issued and Cotswold Classics sold FLP some years agot but beyond that the trail goes cold.
Being partial to an odd OG 250 or two myself and hoping that perhaps there would be a pair of chaincases languishing at the back of the shed I've been in touch with the man seeking the bikes so if anyone has any information I'm happy to pass it on or alternatively it can be sent through ebay:

And of course if anyone has any OG 250 chaincases they want to sell or swap I'll be very happy to hear from you!
