hello! I'm thomas and i am new here and looking forward for some interesting read about ariels. Currently i am rebuildung a 1938 vh. The bike has got patina but is not completely original...and in bits and pieces right now.
For this project i am looking for a rear chain guard in patina, used/abused condition.
And i am thinking of fitting a hs cam and followers.
So if anyone has something, please let me know!
Best regards from upper austria
Thanks, thomas

Hello Thomas and welcome to the AOMCC forum.
HS cams and followers are a bit difficult to find (and usually trashed) but the AOMCC single spares scheme has new camshafts with the postwar VCH profile.
But I think that maybe you should try the original set up first before you start spending !
Post a picture of your pile of parts please, we like that very much over here

Re: hello from austria
I know british only in pettenbach, thats not far away from me...been there several times. I heard already that hs cams are not so easy to find. Right now there is a A6/664 cam in it. I drove it once when i bought the bike last year and thought there could be a bit more punch...
When i get to take some pics i will post them here
