Got to the bottom of that funny sound, it wasn't my ears.
The front pulley on my primary drive started rubbing on the inner chain case. I thought it was a bit close when I put it together. Crap from the rubbing found it's way into the bearings in the clutch which was seizing that up. Mick and Mark at the campsite helped me fashion a shim with some "farm yard engineering" What a thing of beauty

Hi Steve, This is not a new problem unfortunatly they tried a slate shim but it didn't work.

Looks like some huge pulley has been rubbing there !
Makes you feel at home....

That's unfortunate - which vaccine did you have ?

We had our first on 10th Feb; I had no side affects at all (well, maybe a bit sore at the injection site if I lay on it at night). We had the Astra-zeneca vaccine.

A neighbour had the Pfizer jab and suffered "The Shakes & Chills" for a few hours.

We're expecting the call for our second jab any day now.

Interesting times (as in - watching the Politicians).

I had Astra Zenica , a friend of mine reffered to it as Opel Astra, that could explain the headache

Mick and Mark at the campsite were watching and offering all sorts of advice for me as I tried to put my bike back together, all very entertaining, they liked it even more as I kept putting stuff on in the wrong order. Especially when I put the foot peg on under the brake lever.
Lew Wallwork turned up in his van Friday afternoon so I had some good company.

It was Lew's turn to get Mick and Mark's "useful advice" when his WNG refused to start. He got it going in the end just in time to get to the pub in Sedbergh Back at the campsite I moved my trailer nearer Lew's van, not so far to stagger.

Breakfast first on Saturday, I tried out my toaster while Lew Cooked the bacon. I needed a toast rack

Later we rode up to Dent station to catch a train to Settle over the Ribble head viaduct. I thought I'd missed a steam train as there was alot of smoke about, Lews bike was spilling copious amounts of petrol onto his hot exhaust, luckily it stayed smoke.

That big bolt under his float bowl came very loose, easy fix. Dent Station. I tried to get a picture of us both waiting for the train but 10 second delay on the shutter wasn't enough time for me to get back to my seat

Great views from the train. This morning the plan was to meet Jim and John on our way home for breakfast but the cafe had other ideas and was closed so plan B, back to Settle and a bacon bap in the Square. Very pleasant. Cheers lads. Jim got me as I left for home. M6 was shut on the way home which held up things a bit but my sat nav got me on an alternative route through Nutsford. Trafic was crazy but the road was wide enough to filter through.
