My Agnes is over Alan's for some attention. The chain guard has a fixing brocken, the one under the clutch that fixes to the frame.

Remember when my primary belt pully started fouling the inner chain case travelling up to Dent. Well I fixed that whilst I was there but I didn't realy work out what might have caused the lack of clearance, I mean it was ok when I put it together last year.
Coming home from Portsmouth today all was going well but I thought. Is there more vibration then usual, is my right hand feeling a bit numb. Should I check my engine bolts!!!

Hmmmm

All three studs have lost their nuts. Could be my trouble.

Those studs were trying to escape through chain case!! If they fell out the other way I'd have lost them completely.

Witness marks on the back of the chain case:D

No, my mom's name was Anna. He's not here anymore. Adelle is the first English name offered to me by Google and I quite like it.

Waw. I just noticed that I was assigned a red windbreaker. Great, at least I won't get wet.

I have resorted to loctite on all my engine/gearbox nuts. The seemed to consistently escape before hand and I haven’t lost one since.

I learnt a huge amount working on Wickham Platelayers Trolleys on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in the late 1960s-early 1970s. These machines were powered by a Val Page designed 1323cc JAP V-twin engine which vibrated like there was no tomorrow.

When I tighten Ariel engine bolts up, they don't tend to come loose.

I was collared by an outfit called the Rail Trolley Trust a few years ago who seem to see me as something of a technical expert. The current problem (18 months old now, due to Covid) is that I can't seem to prevent the flywheel coming loose on the trolley I have been working on - and yes, I have used loctite.......
