Stretch the upper over the last, with pins holding in place before glueing

Finshed glueing onto the last before sewing the welt

I've stuck the outer sole on now have to sew through the welt into the outer sole

Row of stitching through the welt into the outer leather sole

Then I stuck some 6mm rubber on the sole and then stacked up leather to form a heel. That to is topped off with 6mm rubber

Are you not using old tyres for the sole.

I remember in the 80s having boots the soles had some pattern as tt100 tyres.
