YC5785 - Another friend's uncle

Following my previous post, another friend has sent me a photo of his uncle on an Ariel c 1932. Year and model anyone?
Any chance it is still out there?

Looks like tension spring forks and I can't see a rear stand - 1929?

OHV engine is a 500 I think.

The registration is from Somerset and not on DVLA so the bike may not
have survived - at least with that number.

hi i think that it can be a irish number plate with 4 numbers :?: its a nice looking old Ariel 8-)

hi simon my mistake i did not have my brain in gear :lol: i see a lot of later motors with 3 letters and 4 numbers that come form ireland i look at the logbooks for my cars and bikes from the pre 50 to the 1910 and some of them have got 4 numbers but all the 50s bikes i am working on now have got 3 letters and upto 3 numbers now over 2001 they have gone to 2 letters and two numbers and 3 letters i have got some number plates that my dad had with just one letter and one or two numbers but i do not know what he got them off of and i have had some very good offers for them and the ones that has got names but i will not sell them or his motors or motorcycles

Thanks all - Consensus is that its a 1929 Model E.
