Very confusing why it’s advertised as a VG 500 when the club certificate supplied with it confirms it is a NF3 which is a 350!

Its a 350, but 500s are more expensive and its easy to make a mistake in the remunerative direction if you are trying to sell a bike. I remember Mike Byott as an enthusiastic member. If you look closely at the rocker box, he has the rocker covers I had made around 1990, fixed with my system of 4BA allen bolts, as described in Cheval about that time.

This looks like a good buy for someone.

I think they altered it to a shortstroke 500 but also altered the engine number and sandblasted after stamping.

Marketing anything as something it isn’t when quite clearly they have the correct information to identify the model of bike is just wrong and really shows as a dealer they can’t be trusted .
If not on it the new owner could easily be deceived .
