We want to show you our newest horse in the Collection
1938 Ariel RED HUNTER 500cc.

I think it is a quite lovely machine which will provide much terrific riding.

Looks like a proper riding machine. Mine is a 38VH and it's all pleasure.

If you want the experts to list everything that's not original you will probably have to ask them for it!

MPH (not KPH) speedo - unusual on a continental bike? Is that original or something that's been fitted just to fill the hole??

Yes I know much parts I know these are not original,
Some is modified for german road like speedometer.
The carburetor is a dellorto racing carburetor.
The other parts I don't know so clear me up.
What's original and what's not fit.?

hi i would not worry what parts are right and what is wrong, people do what is best for the bike and them self over the years so i would not change it it is a lovey Ariel as it is, just go and enjoy riding as it is ` 8-) 8-) :)

Just enjoy it and don't worry about originality. the important thing is that it is roadworthy - considering its age it has the right to have a few non-=original components; things do wear out or simply get broken!
