'57 NH

Well I have rejoined the club after a 20 year abscence - life just got in the way...

So, a top end refurb of the NH is underway, the first engine work since I first built the bike in 1981. Found the original purchase receipt...I paid £350 for it.
Used to be a daily rider and went into France on the 'Balade de Vieux Clous' rally a couple of times.

Parts were bought from a variety of suppliers, including a certain shop in Leytonestone at that time.

Still got stickers from Norwich rallies on the tool cupboard door in the workshop.

I will write up another thread on the overhaul.

Hi Julian,
do you mind telling the engine/frame numbers. I'm just interested, as I also have have a 57 NH. Just registered it last spring after ca. 40 years in boxes (the NH). I've enjoyed a lot riding it.
