thanks for your help Frank. Klaus from Germany found a suitable part and sent it to me. I am glad that there are still people in this world who can help.
I also stick to the motto "help" and your help will come back to you when you need it. We are one big Ariel family. 8-)

today I had some time again and so I made a pipe for oil lubrication. it was the feed to the Eureka pressure gauge and camshaft lubrication. At this rate, I'll finish the renovation sometime in retirement

I am quite envious of your progress on this motorcycle. I am retired and not advancing quickly right now with double-vision and balance problems, mailed parts from Britain not coming through and this week losing storage for a few dozen rolling frame projects but I can only get better. Storage space is not a big problem and I will continue with my VA and SB as much as I can.
As soon as I receive some exhaust pipes and mufflers we will proceed with fitting of the expansion chamber you provided and the engine rebuild is set to start as soon as rings get here.
Frank

I took the motorcycle apart and had it sandblasted. It is now in the paint shop and the chrome parts are in the chrome shop. I will wait until the parts are painted before I can start reassembling. :D

I disassembled the engine once more to make sure that everything is correct. Something didn't seem right to me, so I searched until I found the error. I had to use a new lower part when assembling the crankcase and forgot to drill a grease hole in it. Fortunately, it was discovered in time and the defect could still be removed. never rush, one small mistake can ruin your whole work. :o

again we got to the 4F6 model for a while. Production of the exhaust clamp. This week they are predicting bad weather, so we will probably start to slowly assemble the painted parts into one whole 8-)

After a long time, some parts for the 4F6/1932 project were added. We compose only when we have some time left.😁
