Engine no: 9587
1st registered: 'approx' 1919
DVLA shows reg number is on a Mercedes car

what is it good for you can not use it the reg is on a another car or motorcycle or do you just buy it to look at the ariel is not in uk or it was scrapped i have 1000s of log books from the very early 1900 hundreds form vehicles we have exported or scrapped in our scrap yards since 1910 that has been past down through the generations of my family who run them to me now and i will pas them them down wen i go

From those numbers it looks to be 1918. I don't have a lot of W&P bikes on my list from 1918, but a lot from 1919 onwards.
If anyone has any W&P engine, frame and registration numbers then please send them to me. I have been compiling a list of data since I bought my 1913 TT model and have 69 W&P bikes from 1910 to 1925 at the moment (plus a much shorter V-twn list).
