Hi Brenton, having followed your post topic, I've just Googled "www.vintagetyres.com" they are UK based but, very professional! I don't know how much of a hurry you are in, but it's worth a look, two Avon types and an Ensign.
Best, Robin.

Hi all, thanks heaps for the replies.
I'll will contact Vintage tyres and see how much the transport costs are. Adrian is right about our dollar, which is high at the moment.
regards, and many thanks, Brenton

I've emailed them for the cost of transport for one tyre. 54.5 GB pounds is 85 AU Dollars - plus VAT, whatever that is.
I was quoted $175 to $225 for Avon's (not 20") and $230 - $240 for the Cokers - plus transport.
Unless postage is over double the cost of the tyre, I look like being well in front.
Thank you to everyone who replied.
regards, Brenton

** ended up with 4 Avon tyres, a 20" tube and some rim tapes for under $150 a tyre, to my door... Awesome

Well done Brenton. I hope you didn't have to pay any VAT, that is just one contribution we Brits make so very willingly to qualify for all the marvellous benefits we receive as members of the wonderful European Union, are we not blessed? Who cares about 20% or so added to the price of most things?

VAT or GST is not charged on exports from here either. GST can apply into AUS with extra charges for handling etc if the total package is over 1,000$ AUD. ( incl transport and insurance costs) Nevhunter

The tyres arrived today - in under a week! "Neatly" placed over the side fence while I was at work.
I think Vintagetyres UK is linked to your national motorcycle museum.
