Once I was told that my life expectancy on the battlefield was 6 minutes.
How long was a W/NG supposed to function in battle ?
Did the W/NG needed a timingchest that kept sealed ?
No, it was not intended to be used 70+ years later by a bunch of old loonys.

My mate Wayne also has one in alloy....which scuppers the idea of a one off...

I wonder if ariel simply re-used the earlier cover style as they had the masters/moulds and it was an appropriate shape for stamping the mid-war steel covers from ?
