Hi
Did your new kickstart stop peg, work ok I.E. no loud clanks etc when releasing the kickstart, or damage to the mechanism not having a buffer to hit rather than solid metal.
I have to make a choice of doing something similar to you or buying a box (allegedly working fine) I have been offered for £100.00
Is this the going price for a box ?
Thanks
Reg :D
Seems to be fine at the moment Reg, but then the engine is still in pieces so this machine has not run yet. I plan to use a section of a Metalastik suspension bush - from a Land Rover, Morris 1000 or similar, cut to length to form the cushion element.
cheers

Is that a BA box ?
If you didn't want if, for that money, then I would :D
Not exactly easy to find, complete ...
John
baought the BA box (G106D50) for £100.
The story is it was with an old Norton from America instead of a Norton box so was not wanted, just need to strip it and make sure it's not an empty box (feels heavy)
