Most people know the humble Honda C90, but you've probably never encountered any like my pair. The red one was 180cc and holds a UK landspeed record of 76.579mph on sand, but it's currently being taken out to 250cc. The blue one is 305cc, 4 valve, being built to set a 100mph+ record.

Re: A pair of C90's
Very nice, what are the rules if any?
Re: A pair of C90's
We run under SCTA classes, so it's pretty much akin to running at Bonneville.

Here's the 250 cases compared to a standard set, and the 305 liner with a standard barrel.

You're a braver man than me Gunga Din riding a rubbery frame like that at speed. Nev
Re: A pair of C90's
The frame itself is quite a strong stiff unit, it's the way everything's attached to it that is the problem. I've replaced rubber s/arm bushes with ball bearings, and also the fork link bushes, plus wheels with heavy gauge spokes and bigger diameter spindles and YSS shocks.

Re: A pair of C90's
I've ridden the things and like a bit more triangulation. Anyhow 26 HP should get you 100 MPH. Prone. Good luck. Nev

Re: A pair of C90's
There is a man in Holland ( i think his name is Nico Klaassen ) who got the same speeds from a Honda 50cc 4 stroke, he was invited to the Honda factory becouse he got more speed out of it than the factory them selves.
