Interesting that the fins appear to be cut off randomly, as opposed to a clear left and right...

These are the original parts from my 1939 SQ4 (top) and my 1946 SQ4 (bottom). The fin removal of 39 clamps appears to be identical for left and right exhaust which would tie in with the 39 parts book only listing one part number (6061-33).

The 39 parts book lists 3 exhaust clamps:
  1. 6061-33 -> Finned clamp - head to downpipe;
  2. 6064-29 -> Unfinned clamp - downpipe to silencer;
  3. 6066-33 -> Unfinned clamp - centre joint for siamese pipes.
The postwar parts book lists 2 exhaust clamps:
  1. 6066-33 -> Unfinned clamp - head to downpipe;
  2. 6064-29 -> Unfinned clamp - downpipe to silencer.
Presumably siamese pipes were no longer offered after the war.

The cast steel ones are better than aluminium. The top LH one looks correct. Nev
