To get the coveted red name you'll need to contact the Forum admin.

Your application goes to Roger who will process it and once that's done Simon
can confirm your membership and amend your Forum details accordingly.

There may be several cups of tea involved . . .

. . . once your membership card and Cheval turn up you'll find the contact details for
the Square Four spares organiser.

What sort of 4 have you got? My solo Mk 1 has a 25 tooth engine sprocket and is if anything
slightly over-geared for the Chiltern Hills around where I live.

Will , I also have a solo Mk1 . I believe it originally had a sidecar combo thus why its so low geared . Was told the 25 tooth engine sprocket was the most standard.

If I remember correctly the 'official' sizes were 24 teeth for solo work and 22 for
sidecar. Mine had a 24 tooth sprocket when I got it in the late 60's and I fitted a
25 tooth sprocket when I rebuilt it about 20 years ago.

Although now slightly over-geared and once again in need of workshop attention to
finally fit the club conrods and the repaired Solex carb it was a pleasant ride until I
had issues with the Solex and replaced it with an Amal concentric. I also like the
look of them.

Do you know much of the history of your four 4?
