If that is not the correct type there is one on eBay with the open ends for the spindle. Pricey though. Again no connection to me.

hi , the swinging arm you need is with open ends form late 1953 to 1956 the later arm had a brake cable on the right side of the arm

1955 modelyear has an extra chainguardsupport.
