Excellent article in the February CdF on the HS.
Can someone tell me why there are two frame prefixes for 1955? Frames left over from 1954 perhaps?

It is not unusual for there to be a few 'left over' frames used at the start of a year and a few from the following year used at the end.
Roger Gwynn, Membership Secretary, curator of the Machine Register and the works drawings. Director of Draganfly Motorcycles, Craven Equipment and Supreme Motorcycles mostly retired.
